I read in an article to be careful going over water; especially if the water is calm. If you get too low, and then stay in one place, the drone may think the still water is 'land' and land the drone automatically. I don't know what I would do if my drone 'landed' in the mountain streams we have...

A little cold weather advice I can give you ...... if your batteries are 'cold', then warm then up to at least 'room temperatures'. And, don't charge your battery if it is hot ..... wait for it to cool down. I've not actually done any cold weather flights, but living here in Utah I will plan to...
