By somehow safely removing 5/6grams form the Flip/battery, it could be reduced to 244gr. Adding a compliant RI Dronetage BS module (which weights 4gr with the case around it for mounting) it will be 249 grams = FAA Category 1 Drone. I'm currently flying a Mini 2 with Japanese batteries and a Dronetage BS RI module as a Cat 1 drone by carefully removing some of the plastic on the prop guards resulting in a weight of 249gr. I realized the Flip was a just released, but my question is, before I start removing any weight, I wanted to see if anyone else has tried this? Does anyone have a schematic of a Flip?
