From MAVIC 3 Pro to Flip ... Hello from Utah

Hello All,

Glad and happy to be on the 'FlipPilots' website. After having a DJI Mavic 3 Pro, which I had to sell after 4 months (long sad story), wanted to get back in to 'droning' (is that a word ???) and get something small that I can play with my grandkids with.

Been flying the FLIP for 6 weeks. Sure wish I had an extra battery for it. I know, ..... I'll stand in line. In the meantime hopefully I can add some advice, and suggestions, and just stories that I hope to share.

I don’t have a Flip but do have a NEO which has similar features. The Flip is quite a downgrade from a Mavic 3 Pro.

Hello.... and thank you for the greeting. I surely know that the "FLIP" is not near the drone as the MAVIC 3 PRO !! I had a granddaughter who was in an accident .... totaled her car. She used her car for her job so the entire family joined together (It Takes a Village) and we got her another car. Sooooo .... with much regret I sold my 5 month old drone, 3 batteries, a triple charger, and case. I will one day have another one. Ohhhhhh.... I also had a MINI 4 PRO who i had just gave

Sorry to hear about the car accident. Glad everyone is ok and that out of the kindness of your family she got another car.

The NEO is a great low cost drone. Maybe you might be able to get a refurbished one for your grandson.

I knew the FLIP would be limited, but I wanted to try some of the features (like how it will follow you; or circle around you) It's a fun drone. But I feel like I went from a Ferrari back to a Camaro. At least I was able to buy one before DJI went 'bye bye'.
