Im intrigued by the feature where you can have the drone track you from in front while you do a walk and talk and record your voice on your phone. But I would like to have the phone hidden. Has anyone tried having their phone in their pocket, with a lavalier mic attached to the phone and also hidden under the clothes? Would having it in your pocket present the danger of your movements accidentally moving the virtual joysticks or changing other settings? Please let me know the results if any of you have experimented with a setup like that..

I think it's possible. I wouldn't use manual control in the app for fear of accidental movements. Stick to the "Follow Me" or "DirectionTrack" modes with the mic hooked up.

Most clothing will not affect the touch screen of a phone but I do have some shorts and pants that I wear in the summer that do affect the touch screen on my phone. I believe they are made from nylon so might want to check the material you are planning on wearing.

When I use my phone I just carry it in my hand in case I need to make quick adjustments.

Today I went out Nordic skiing with my NEO and used my phone. It has the same features as the Flip when using a phone. I set it to Follow and put the phone in my chest pocket and did my ski without any problems. Later I tried my hip pocket and it worked for some of the ski then the NEO stopped. When I looked at my phone, I noticed the Follow mission had been stopped likely from the movement of the phone in my hip pocket. I returned the phone to my chest pocket for the remainder of the ski ( 2 more batteries) and had no problems.

Having the phone in a pocket works as long as there is not a lot of movement.

Another use case for the pocket is voice control.

I was using it this way over the weekend to adjust follow parameters dynamically. It's pretty neat making the video a bit more interesting while it's "hidden" that you're controlling it.

Never thought of trying voice control. Will try that next time.
