New to drones

I just bought my first drone (mini 4k) and I'm waiting for it to delivered!

Do you guys have any advice for a rookie flyer? Also does anyone know any cool spots to fly in and around gillespie county TX?

Welcome! For someone new to drones, I would recommend the DJI Care Refresh package. It's like insurance if you were to crash your drone and becomes inoperable. You can get it replaced for a minimal fee.

I got my drone this week and I have to say it flip'n fun to fly! Took some videos at a ranch earlier this week now I just need to learn how to edit videos lol. What do you guys use?

I don't use this software but have read about it in the forums as a good pruduct.

There's a free version to try before you buy, if needed.

Back in the day I used to use PowerDirector as it was one of the few gpu accelerated apps.

I have also heard that Davinci is good, however I have never used it. If you have a Mac or iOS device you could also use iMovie which is easy to use. It comes with Macs and also available on iPads and iPhones. It's great if you are just starting out in video editing and it's free!
