RTH goes straight up in the air

When I try to use RTH when the drone is more than 50 m away it goes straight up in the air and keeps going up till I cancel and bring it back down manually. This is not what it says it should do in the manual.

When I try to use RTH when the drone is more than 50 m away it goes straight up in the air and keeps going up till I cancel and bring it back down manually. This is not what it says it should do in the manual.

Check the RTH altitude in the safety tab in DJI Fly. It should be set to an altitude high enough to clear any obstacles. It may have been inadvertently been set at an unreasonably high altitude.
